A small online group for dads
You love your kids.
You’re still a person.
Fatherhood can be meaningful, funny, exhausting, and lonely—sometimes in the same afternoon. This is a place to talk honestly about the parts that don’t fit into a quick ‘we’re doing great.’
Thursdays, 5–6 p.m. Pacific · Starting October 22, 2026
Ongoing · An eight-week commitment is preferred · $45 per session
Your group therapist
You don’t have to have fatherhood figured out.
A practical, conversational group about becoming the dad—and person—you want to be. We’ll talk about stress, relationships, identity, and how to stay connected when life feels like an endless handoff between responsibilities.
You can care deeply about your family and need support yourself.
This might be for you if…
- You feel stretched between parenting, your relationship, work, and your own needs.
- You want to be more present but notice yourself shutting down, getting reactive, or running on empty.
- You miss adult friendship and conversations that go beyond logistics.
- You want to learn from other dads without turning parenting into another performance test.
What we’ll work toward
A little more room to breathe
Notice overload sooner and build realistic ways to recover, ask for help, and share the load.
Connection at home
Talk about communication, conflict, co-parenting, and repairing the moments you wish had gone differently.
A self beyond the role
Make space for friendships, identity, meaning, and being a person as well as a parent.
Meet Andrew
A real conversation.
Room for real change.
I’m a therapist, supervisor, and professional actor. My work often comes back to self-worth, relationships, identity, and the patterns that keep people stuck.
My style is warm and conversational. I’ll help you make sense of what’s happening, and I’ll be honest when a different perspective could help. We’ll leave room for depth, practical change, and a little humor.
Where you can join.
Online therapy is available to eligible clients physically located in these states at the time of a session.
Florida is served through an out-of-state telehealth registration. Availability and group fit are confirmed before enrollment.
A few things you might be wondering.
What kinds of dads is this for?
New and experienced dads, including adoptive, step, LGBTQ+, single, and co-parenting dads, are welcome to inquire. We’ll talk briefly before you join to see whether this group fits what you need.
Is this a parenting class?
The focus is on your experience of fatherhood, relationships, and wellbeing. There may be practical ideas, but this is not a one-size-fits-all parenting curriculum or a promise to fix a child’s behavior.
What does it cost?
$45 per person per 60-minute session. We can check together whether your insurance is an option and what your cost would be before you join.
When does it meet? How long do I join for?
We start October 22, 2026, and meet Thursdays, 5–6 p.m. Pacific / 6–7 Mountain / 7–8 Central / 8–9 Eastern. The group is ongoing, with an eight-week commitment preferred so we have time to get to know one another. We will not meet on November 26, December 24, or December 31. We’ll discuss attendance and payment arrangements before you join.
How much do I have to share? Is it private?
You decide what to share and can pass when you need to. We ask everyone to keep other members’ identities and stories private, join from a private space, and avoid recording or screenshots. I’ll explain professional confidentiality and its limits before we begin. I can’t guarantee another member’s actions, so we take these agreements seriously and talk openly about privacy.
Do I need to book a consultation first?
No. Choose “Dads group” on the signup form and I’ll contact you to arrange a brief conversation, usually about ten minutes. You do not need to find a 30-minute appointment on my calendar. Sending the form does not commit you to joining; we’ll confirm your place together.
Come as a dad. Show up as yourself.
