Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists (associates, interns, trainees) in California and Minnesota.
My supervision style is collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on helping you develop your authentic clinical voice — not just check boxes. I draw from CBT, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused approaches, with particular experience in identity work, family dynamics, anxiety, and confidence issues.
What to expect:
A supportive space to process cases, build skills, and grow as a clinician
Direct feedback that helps you grow without tearing you down —sometimes we need as much help seeing what we are good at to grow.
Attention to both clinical skills and the business side of the profession
Flexibility to focus on what you actually need
Formats & Rates:
Individual Supervision: $110 / hour
Group Supervision (3-5 supervisees): $50 / hour per person
Currently accepting individual and group supervisees:
in Minnesota & California for telehealth supervision
in California at my office in Mission Viejo for in-person supervision
I also offer and welcome brief, no-fee consultation calls for licensed therapists who want to talk through a case, get a second opinion, or just connect with a colleague who gets it. I find these conversations valuable too — we're all better when we're not doing this work in isolation.
No strings attached. Just two therapists thinking together.

A Bit About Me
Hello! I'm Andrew Hey, MA, LPCC — a licensed therapist with 10+ years of clinical experience across community mental health and private practice. I’ve also spent a decade as a professional actor, which I love and informs everything I do as therapist — how I listen, how I build rapport, and how I help people close the gap between who they've been expected to be and who they actually are.
I moved from Minnesota to Orange County recently and know firsthand how isolating it can be to build a practice in a new place. These resources exist because I wish someone had handed them to me when I was starting out — and because I believe we do better work when we're not reinventing the wheel alone.
My clinical interests include identity, authenticity, imposter syndrome, family systems, religious trauma, and working with creative and high-achieving adults who feel stuck playing roles that no longer fit.
I'm always happy to connect with other therapists — whether that's consultation, referrals, or just commiserating about documentation.
Whether you're interested in supervision, have questions about a product, or just want to connect — I'd love to hear from you.
